What is Militex or Mtex?
The weight of 1000 meters or 1 kilometer of yarn is known as militex. The weight is taken in milligrams so you can understand how small the amount is supposed to be. For example, 80 militex means that a 1000-meter-long yarn has a weight of 70 milligrams.
Now you might be wondering why this is so significant for the textile industry given the militex results are so small. Even though militex is not as common as decitex or kilotex as they are significantly larger than militex, there are some uses of it.
There is not a lot to talk about Militex since it is not widely used by most companies.
